man, this vacation rocks. well, mostly.
i love visiting family and friends. i like it a lot more this year than i did last year, but we all know the reason for that, and i'm not gonna go into that. this weekend was a blast. i got into lake charles on friday around 2 in the afternoon and stopped by my nanny's. then after a while my dad dropped me off at sam's where i met sara, sam, jessica, and kayla. brittany wasn't there, but that's a whole 'nother story too. we had a great time, just sitting around and talking. i mean, it was like i'd never even left and we all picked up right where we left off. we watched 'the forgotten' (of course, i had already seen it but whatever, it was cool). i sat by sara, and she kept asking me what was gonna happen and stuff. heck no, i wasn't about to tell her. but she still kept bugging me. haha. then later on that night i called my nanny to see if i could spend the night and she said yes. score one for chris and sam. not that we did much the next day or anything..
anyway, around 1:30 my aunt came and picked me up while my nanny and my cousins and matt went to the James Family Reunion. i didn't really wanna go because i knew i'd feel out of place there. so me and my aunt brandi went to starbucks and i got a caramel macchiato.. heck yes. i haven't had one of those in forever. anyway, her boyfriend owns this bar/restaurant place and they have a bunch of pool tables and stuff, so we went there while it was closed because she had a key to it and we just messed around and played a few games of pool. i did beat her once, and you gotta give me credit for that because she's a really good pool player. i mean, she plays in a league. and every time she beat me i only had one ball left on the table. so i think i did pretty well. after that was done, we went home and i just got to visit with family and stuff. that was pretty cool i guess. just relaxing.
sunday came and we got to go to our old church. then we ate at Cancun's. HECK YEAH. actually, it wasn't as good as i remember. i think california spoiled me in that area. or maybe it was just Murillo's. haha. anyway, we went swimming later on when we got back, and that was great because i love playing with my two twin cousins. they're so fun. and they're only 5. haha.
last night after my stepmom picked me up and we went back home, my dad cooked his famous chicken nuggets. no one could EVER beat them.
ever. they are so freakin' good. then we all sat down and watched 'White Noise.' that was probably the scariest movie i've seen in a LONG time. it was really good, and if you like scary movies i'd definitely recommend it.
so i really can't complain about this trip at all. i'm glad i'm having a good time here. although, i'm pretty upset that i'm not going to florida because of the gay hurricane. freakin' a. that's pretty gay. but whatever, i'm sure we'll figure out something to do. i really miss people up there though. especially nia, lily, and zack. but of course, that was given. i'll be home soon enough i guess. i'm kinda torn though, because i'll miss people from both places a lot. ahh..
